WE’RE SUPPORTIVE

We do more than just finance your car - we help you keep it on the road too. We’ve got a range of optional support products such as Health, Work and Restart Waivers, and we can arrange a Mechanical Warranty for peace of mind. We’re also the only finance company to have an exclusive partnership with My On Road Plan, which provides you a membership-based maintenance package for your vehicle.

A My On Road Plan membership covers the cost of WOF checks, Servicing, Registration, Roadside Assistance and more, and helps your cashflow management by spreading out the cost of vehicle ownership over the year. Together, we can offer access to a Revolving Credit Loan, for safety related repairs when you really need them (subject to affordability and credit criteria).

WE’RE A RESPONSIBLE LENDER

We take our ethical lending practises very seriously, and pride ourselves on the range of clients we can assist, from all walks of life. Our application process carefully evaluates every applicant’s financial situation to ensure affordability. We strive to help everyone, but if we believe a loan will put you in a tricky financial situation, we will decline your application. This is simply because we don’t want to put you into a vehicle you can’t afford.

YOU CHOOSE

If you want to purchase from a car dealer, we’ll happily put you in touch with one from our trusted dealer network. We’ve checked them out thoroughly, so you can shop for your new car with confidence. We have dealers in Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga and Wellington.

If you’d prefer to buy privately (from Trade Me, a friend, family member, or a private auction), we can pre-approve your car loan, so you can shop like a cash buyer (subject to a successful approval and pre-inspection of the vehicle).

WE MAKE IT EASY

It only takes a few minutes to fill out our online application form. We’ll be in touch within 24 hours to discuss where you’d like to purchase from, and what documents we’ll need to collect (these will include bank statements, proof of income, proof of address and your drivers licence).

Our competitive interest rates are determined on a case-by-case basis and you’ll be advised of the rate applicable to your loan at the pre-approval stage of your application.

Our optional support products are unmatched by any other finance company in New Zealand. Choose the ones that work for you and tailor the package to get what you really need.

WE UNDERSTAND

We understand that sometimes ‘things happen’ which means making your regular payment can be tricky. If you fall behind on your payments, no default interest will be charged.

Go Car Finance is a 100% New Zealand owned company, operating out of our head office in Ellerslie, Auckland. We specialise in providing flexible vehicle finance to the consumer market and as a result, help thousands of Kiwis get into a car every year.

We have close relationships with a number of dealers across New Zealand, and can refer our clients to one that is conveniently located and will offer the most affordable finance package for their situation.
